Job Summary
Support and quote all projects for customers. Support the Critical Infrastructure Group by providing technical information and product knowledge. Provide a high level of customer service while ensuring quotes are distributed to customers in a timely fashion.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Manage and source pricing for items across Core & Main’s scope of work on contractor projects, meeting internal and external deadlines to generate quotations that comply with specifications and/or customer requirements.
- Prepares formal quotations and submittals under the direction of estimators and sales team
- Revise quotes and update pricing per addendums
- Manages incoming RFQs, working with the sales team and the customer to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Assists our estimating team with maintaining the bid calendar and ensuring quotes are delivered in a timely fashion
- Acts as focal point for questions concerning specifics of quotes and proposals
