Position Summary
The Manager, Enterprise Portfolio Management (PMO) is a hands-on individual contributor role within a startup PMO, responsible for both day-to-day PMO administration and strategic portfolio management.
This role requires a leader who can operate at both a detailed execution level and a strategic level, with a significant focus on managing and administering the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) module. Prior, hands-on ServiceNow SPM experience is critical to success in this position.
The individual will own PMO operations, governance processes, intake workflows, and portfolio reporting, while building a deep understanding of business priorities to deliver meaningful insights, dashboards, and decision support. This role will also help establish a strong PMO foundation with the potential to grow into a team leadership role as the function matures.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow SPM Ownership & Administration (Critical Focus)
- Serve as the primary administrator and business owner of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
- Perform hands-on configuration, maintenance, and administration of SPM modules, including demand, project, portfolio, resource, and reporting
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across all SPM records
- Manage workflows, intake forms, approvals, and system governance within ServiceNow
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reporting directly within SPM
- Monitor system usage and drive adoption, usability, and process compliance
