About This Role
SpartanX is seeking an experienced Director of Safety & Training** to lead the company's safety program, training initiatives, and workforce development across all operational departments.
This executive leadership role is responsible for creating a culture where safety is not just a priority—it's the standard. The Director of Safety & Training will develop, implement, and oversee company-wide safety policies, compliance programs, onboarding, technical training, leadership development, and continuing education for field and office employees.
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background in construction or solar safety who is passionate about developing people, reducing risk, and building scalable training programs that support operational excellence.
What You'll Do
Safety Leadership
- Develop, implement, and oversee SpartanX's company-wide safety program
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices
- Conduct safety audits, field observations, and jobsite inspections
- Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while implementing corrective actions
- Develop and monitor safety KPIs, incident reporting, and compliance metrics
- Maintain all required safety documentation and regulatory records
- Partner with leadership to promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organizationTraining & Development
