Join Cincinnati Children's Information Services as a Senior Database Administrator and help power the technology behind world-class pediatric healthcare. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of secure, high-performing enterprise database environments while ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across critical systems. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you'll solve complex technical challenges, drive continuous improvement, mentor team members, and deliver innovative database solutions that support exceptional patient care and organizational success.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Database
- Responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of moderately complex database environments.
- Ensure that database environments are recoverable and secure.
- Plan for and monitor the capacity of the database environments.
- Monitor database and server performance; provide analysis and solutions to performance issues.
