POSITION SUMMARY: The ES Account Executive I focuses primarily on new business and account acquisition to drive profitable growth for the Environmental Solutions business. The incumbent identifies and develops prospects through self-driven outreach, participation in industry events, and organization-led campaigns. The ES Account Executive I promotes and sells recycling, waste, environmental, and compliance-based products and services to new customers at all organizational levels, with a strong emphasis on engaging senior executives.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote and sell recycling, waste, environmental compliance, and sustainability products and services tailored to customers' needs.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through proactive outreach and strategic networking to ensure new account growth and build a successful sales funnel.
Understand customer operations and regulatory requirements to design customized environmental solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions align with customer goals.
Utilize CRM daily, schedule and document all activities, and develop robust information profiles on prospective customers to facilitate acquisition of new customers.
Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in designated markets to anticipate changing customer needs.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available services, lines of business and pricing structures; offer additional services to potential clients, including total waste stream management solutions, as appropriate, to grow targeted profitable revenue and contribute to Company goals and objectives.
Complete required Environmental Service Agreements, Pricing Proposals, reports, and other paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy.
Technical knowledge with an understanding of environmental solutions, and regulatory compliance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills and the ability to produce high quality, error free work in a fast-paced work environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
Knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce) to manage pipeline and track performance.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $70,304.00 to $77,550.00* which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions. The actual range will depend on the locality in which you are hired.Bonus Plan Details (if applicable):

Sustainability Innovation
Republic’s recent innovations to advance circularity and decarbonization demonstrate our unique ability to leverage sustainability as a platform for growth.
The Republic Services Polymer Center is the nation’s first integrated plastics recycling facility. These innovative sites process rigid plastics from our recycling centers, producing recycled materials that promote true bottle-to-bottle circularity. We also formed Blue Polymers, a joint venture with Ravago, to develop facilities that will further process plastic material from our Polymer Centers to help meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging. We are building a network of Polymer Centers and Blue Polymer facilities across North America.
Our customers are increasingly looking for decarbonization solutions, and we are leveraging our network of landfills to meet that need. Republic is committed to harnessing landfill gas, a natural byproduct of decomposing waste, and converting it to energy. Republic has partnered with renewable gas developers to construct Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) plants at our landfills, expanding beyond the 77 projects we currently have to make progress towards our goal to beneficially reuse 50% more biogas by 2030 (2017 baseline year).
