Position Summary:
The Director of Global Volunteer Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and enhancing our global volunteer programs. This individual will develop and implement comprehensive strategies to engage, support, and mobilize volunteers across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with Greater Good Charities’ mission and goals. The role requires a visionary leader with exceptional organizational skills, a passion for community service, and a proven track record in volunteer management and program development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a global volunteer management strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and enhances volunteer engagement and impact.
- Program Development: Design and implement innovative volunteer programs and initiatives that address global challenges and maximize volunteer contribution.
- Volunteer Recruitment and Retention: Create and execute strategies to recruit, onboard, and retain a diverse pool of volunteers, ensuring an inclusive and positive experience for all participants.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs and resources to equip volunteers with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively contribute to our initiatives.
- Regional Coordination: Work closely with regional teams to ensure cohesive and effective volunteer management across different locations, adapting strategies to local needs and contexts.
- Partnerships and Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations, community groups, and stakeholders to enhance volunteer opportunities and maximize impact.
