Staff Accountant - Senior Accountant Job Summary Oversee accounting and Reporting for the Company’s Investments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reconcile e-investment holdings and activity to supporting reports and custodial accounts.
- Accounting for the Company’s private investment portfolio including equity method investments in renewable energy and limited partnerships.
- Monthly close process – preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, review of trial balance, financial statement preparation including analytics.
- Prepare quarter-end financial reporting packages and schedules.
- Assist with the Company’s SEC filings and NAIC Statements.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and other special projects as needed.
- Adherence to Company internal controls and accounting policies.
- Provide client assistance as needed for internal and external audits.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
