About the team and position
Join Carvana's Legal Department in the role of Counsel, Regulatory Compliance. Carvana is looking for an attorney to support its response to regulatory examinations, investigations, inquiries, and complaints. The role also provides legal and regulatory support across Carvana's automotive sales, consumer finance, payments, and other consumer-facing financial services activities, including technology-driven financial services and fintech business models.
This role will report directly to the Senior Counsel, Consumer Finance, and will work closely with other members of the Legal and Compliance teams. - Develop a mastery of Carvana business processes and systems. Provide counsel to Carvana stakeholders, in partnership with senior members of the Legal team, on consumer finance and regulatory requirements, including consumer protection, consumer lending, payments, and servicing.
- Support the Legal team on regulatory examinations, investigations, inquiries, and complaints, including preparing and coordinating responses, gathering information, and analyzing issues across legal, compliance, and business teams.
